The lot size calculation is divided into 2 types, as following.

**Fixed**

If you select*Fixed* on the
Initial Lots Type, then the lot size will be fetched from
Initial Lots directly. Note that
Initial Lots is considering the minimum lot size and maximum lot size of your current account. If you set less than the minimum or more than the maximum, it will adjust the lot size accordingly.

**Dynamic**

If you select*Dynamic* on the
Initial Lots Type, then the lot size will be calculated, hence the value can be anything between the minimum lot size until the maximum lot size of your current account.

Lot Size = base x multiplier

*base* is from
Inital Lots Calculation Source. If the value is *Balance*, then *base* is equal to balance. If the value is
*Equity*, then *base* is equal to equity.

While*multiplier* is from
Initial Lots Multiplier.

**Example:**

You have balance of $5000 and equity $4900 considering that you still have floating orders. You have set your Initial Lots Multiplier to 0.01. For example, your broker's max lot size is 100.

*Scenario 1*

You set the Initial Lots Type to*Dynamic* and set the
Initial Lots Calculation Source to *Balance*. Your lot size now is $5000 x 0.01 = 50 lots.

*Scenario 2*

You set the Initial Lots Type to*Dynamic* and set the
Initial Lots Calculation Source to *Equity*. Your lot size now is $4900 x 0.01 = 49 lots.

*Scenario 3*

For example, your broker's max lot size is 25, then in*Scenario 1* and *
Scenario 2* will always give you 25 as the lot size.
